So what is a Gravity Smoker and how do they work? Is it an offset? A vertical? A pellet smoker? Well, it's really a combination of all three! A Boss Gravity Smoker is as easy as a pellet smoker, shaped like a vertical and produces food arguably as good as a traditional offset!
So how does it work? A Gravity Smoker works with, well, gravity! Charcoal is loaded into the airtight chute and is lit at the bottom through the firebox door. The charcoal slowly burns, feeding smoke up into the chamber and ultimately out of the chimney smoke stack.
As the smoke is pushed out of the bottom of the chute, it rises evenly through the cooking chamber. The temperature is maintained easier and has very minimal fluctuation, thanks to the included fan control unit;.

Consistent temps, tests show fluctuations of 2ºF.

A Boss Gravity Smoker allows you to achieve traditional offset results and flavours without the need to maintain your fire and temperatures throughout your cook.
