The latest model of Hibachi Tabo Grill is the Compact - designed for small, intimate meals at home. With a compact footprint, and a versatile mesh grill top as standard, the Compact makes charcoal grilling even more accessible.

The mesh grill can be removed to allow for cooking skewers on the yakitori rail included with the Compact grill.

With all the features of the complete grill range, including the side air vents and compatibility with the chef's workstation and other accessories, the Compact is a great option for the enthusiastic home cook. Superior thermal insulation, enabling direct tabletop cooking with no risk of heat transfer damage. Capabilities include professional-grade smoking, precision roasting, and temperature-controlled slow cooking applications.

Yes it is. The mesh grill can be removed to allow for cooking skewers on the yakitori rail which is included with the Hibachi Tabo Compact grill.

Can any charcoal be used in a Hibachi grill?

Yes! A wide variety of charcoals can be used in a Hibachi, we always recommend trying a good quality Binchotan charcoal which is the traditional charcoal used in a Hibachi and has a distinctly different flavour profile to regular charcoals.
